Current Situation: (December 28, 2020)
We are not in "live sessions" in our school district. We started with in person schooling but within a month had to go virtual. We plan to return to in person teaching January 11.

We would like to congratulate our 6th Grade students who placed in the Helen Mears Art Contest. Listed below are our winners!!! ​

​GROUP 1 - PAINT. Including watercolor, oil

1st Place  Alina P.  Title - Celestial Beings (Tin Foil Project)
2nd Place Olivia S. Title -  StarBurst (Radial Symmetry Project)
3rd Place Lizzie M. Title -  At the Beach (Pop Art Project)

For the month of February, the 5th graders started their pop art projects. The project consist of learning how to draw detailed textures, sharpie textures, erasing and learning creative coloring. Once the drawing is finalized, the students will begin adding their creative coloring to each section. Creative coloring is the combining of two colors.

For the month of February, the 6th graders started their portfolio projects. They will learn how to draw bubble letters. Once learned, they will draw their name in bubble letters and change each letter into an object. They will add creative coloring to finalize the project.
